I painted this picture in 2005 summer while I was involved in a sexual brainstorming.
The image expresses my most hidden feelings about love, sexual force, flesh anguish and the mystical meaning they have in my creative and human life.

Wow... This is an amazing (and amazingly personal) piece. I think I can understand where you're coming from on this subject. My best Friend, Brother, Compadre, & roommate is a sex addict. However he still finds a spiritual peace and freedom during the deed and that's why he's addicted. I find such things in drugs, he uses sex. As an artist (a writer if my screen name doesn't obviate) looking at it from that perspective I think I can understand the duality and inspirational nature of sexuality through this painting. Absolutely beautiful.

I appreciate a lot your musings about this painting that, after almost 7 years, proves to be still a very contemporary psycographic rendition of a peculiar state of mind working beneath the surface of my emotive and creative life.
indeed the definition "sexual brainstorming" refers to a inner struggle for celebrating the marriage between the "Atman" (a Sanskrit word meaning "soul", "ego" or "self")and the transcendent self, through the channel of flesh and sensual forces permeating the matter.
Moreover I like the fact that your avatar is made by the interchangeable faces of Lovecraft and King: the former sublimated his erotic pulsions into a pantheon of amphibian cosmic entities, the latter unleashed them with graphical violence and symbolic use of body fluids.
Somehow a similar dichotomy serves as the spinal chord of this conceptual image as well as of many other pictorial, literary and cinematic works of mine.

Well, it has taken me quite a long time to contemplate a response to you, sir. First of all, let me just state that it is personally refreshing to know that an artist like you exists on this website. Someone who's art is not just insight into the person, but it is thought through and retelling a deliberate message. This is piece is absolutely rich with contemplation and I find myself wondering if you believe in the chakras? This seems like an interesting connecting between the second, creative, water chakra of creation and sexual desire and the seventh crown chakra, the connection to the Atman and moreover the connect to Brahman.

I never personally thought too much of this in a sexual context, especially King and Lovecraft, but I can see where you come from. I haven't put much thought into King's works as a whole, but as far as Lovecraft stands I always thought that his creations were ones of pure fear; and by that I mean his own. Fear of human insignificance in the grand scheme, a literary magnification and manifestation of that bit of paranoia that I'm convinced all sentient beings experience at least once.

Oh, and before I forget, I greatly appreciate you're decision to watch me as an artist. I'm not particularly good, but hopefully I don't disappoint.

Thanks a lot Mona. It's alluring to see that after 5 years since I uploaded this canvas on Deviantart there's a new wave of attention towards it as well as other older and newest artworks of mine.
