Description
One more for the road (2017) Oil on canvas, 40x30 cm.
An oil painting submitted in September to the BR2049 Talenthouse contest, placing the main characters inside and outside the holographic jukebox, in order to enhance the ambiguous nature of reality and memories.
On January 17th, 2018, the Dutch actress Sylvia Hoeks (playing the replicant LUV) featured this painting on her Instagram in order to celebrate the movie BLU RAY release.www.instagram.com/p/BeC6LtEDCS…
On Talenthouse very few people seem to appreciate this kind of "vision".
Actually I was trying to convey what I think it might be the spiritual core of the new movie than just assembling the usual, formulaic movie poster. I was quite bemused by the fact an (incredibly awful) child scribble got more support than any of my submitted artworks.

Amazing art, inspiring vision, powerful concept! I like it very much, please, don't listen to ppl from that contest.
Personally I don't like new Bladerunner at all (I'm fan of an old movie), but I'm impressed by your artwork.
